CLC Required Safety Items: Pass/Fail (Fail can mean no-go) EQUIPMENT OR ITEM

1. Brake Lights

2. Parking Brake - Must be able to stall engine when idling in 2nd gear (3rd gear in 4-speeds).

3. Service Brakes - Must be able to stall engine when idling in 1st gear (2nd gear in 4-speeds).

4. Tires - All tires including spare must have at least 2/32" of tread. Spare must be fully inflated.

Air down to max of 15 psi at time of inspection.

5. Roll Bar - Any open vehicle must have a roll bar firmly attached to vehicle.

6. Tow Rope or Chain

7. Current Vehicle Registration

8. Current Liability Insurance Coverage.

9. Jack - high-lift type recommended.

10. Fire Extinguisher - must show full charge on gauge and/or have seal intact.

11. Seat Belts - one set for each passenger.

4. Winch & Tow Equipment

5. Windshield - No dangerous cracks.

6. Horn

7. Exhaust System - Must be intact. No open exhaust, excessive noise or excessive smoke.

8. Steering - check play in wheel, condition of column & mounting hardware, knuckle arms.

9. Hoses & Lines - water, gas, brake lines. Please do not come to a run with a rig that

has an excessive leak. Although it will not disqualify you from the run, it has a very

damaging effect on the environment.
